I am building a new pc and I was checking if all the parts are compatible on https://pcpartpicker.com/ and it showed me that the Cooler Master Hyper 212X is not compatible with the GIGABYTE X470 AORUS ULTRA. This is what it showed on the website :

The Cooler Master - Hyper 212X 82.9 CFM CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the Gigabyte - X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard
Will there be any compatibility issues with these components or will they work fine?

Solution
There are coolers as good or better than the 212x for similar money.

The deepcool gammaxx 400 is one & fits all ryzen cpu's out of the box.

That said a ryzen 2600 + aftermarket cooler will cost about the same as a 2600x.

The 2600x offers better performance out of the box & comes, with the full size wraith spire which removes the need, for, both an aftermarket cooler and/or any manual overclocking

I'd put the extra money towards the 2600X, the Wraith version that comes with it is really good and would be better then some of the budget options out there.

Thanks madmatt30, I am going to go with the 2600x instead of a 2600 and a cooler. :)
