Recently my mouse would freeze my windows 7 for a few seconds, completely not responding. This would happen continuously until I either plug my mouse USB out and then back in or just restart my whole PC.Normally it doesn't happen when I start windows ,rather like 20-30 minutes after. Also to mention that it started happening when I formatted my PC and just bought a new back-lit mouse.Any help would be appreciated
I am running windows 7 64 bit.
And it's not a drivers problem,I have updated the drivers.I also have checked it's compatibility and a Virus run both checking out to not being a case.

Solution
You can try the mouse on another system, and see if the problem travels with the mouse. If so, replace the mouse.

Freezes are usually the result of software problems. For example a corrupted system file in the operating system. Another example is a corrupted or incompatible device driver.

So the most common fix for freezes are updating the motherboard and other device drivers followed by reinstalling the operating system. Also the updating motherboard BIOS can help especially if the new version addresses stability or freezing issues.

Well I just got the mouse like 6 days ago so I can't buy a new one.I haven't tried uninstalling but could there be a issue with the PC ports.Sometimes plugging the USB in the back makes the problem worse and sends mouse Functionality errors.Someone suggested total drivers update aswell?
Any other recommendations just in case?

Then I would return the mouse. It should be just plug and play.

What mouse is it?
