CPU: intel core i3-8100

Memory: 1x8GB 2400 DDR4

unfortunetly the total (in CAD) is around $330. if you find anything cheaper by another manafacturer (without cutting edges) please tell me. Also is this build compatible with eachother. p.s. I already have a GTX 1050 2gb dont worry about gpu or psu
ty :)

Solution
They do seem to be compatible. Try the same parts on Amazon or google shopper for lower prices. You can also use http://pcpartpicker.com/ to price check your parts.

No, the only modern overclocking Intel processors are the K models. There is some very minor overclocking that can be accomplished on non-K CPUs, but it isn't really worth the effort.

lol sorry i forgot its a non-k model, but if i were to get an overclockable cpu would this motherboard be able to do it smoothly?

The H series motherboards are essentially gaming motherboards with the bells and whistles mostly removed (to make it cheaper). It really isn't designed to accommodate overclocking.
