So I have a CPU Xeon x3440 which supports up to 1333MHz RAM and I have a motherboard which supports up to 2200MHz RAM.

I have two sticks of 4GB in dual channel in slots 2 and 4 which run at 1333MHz.
I also have two more sticks of 4GB but they are 1600MHz.

Should I combine these two and would I have problems? Also, if the 1600MHz RAM downclocks to 1333MHz that wouldn't be a problem.

And lastly, my CPU is overclocked to 3.7GHz and RAM is also overclocked to ~1500MHz (don't know the exact number).

They may work well, or they may not work at all. You ll have to force the same timings for all RAM at the same frequency. Go into bios and check the timings that your 1333 ram is running at the overclocked 1500 frequency. Then install 1600 ram and try to configure all memory with the settings for 1500 mhz. Make sure you don't lose dual channel as this will have a performance impact. Post the results
