Help Me Choose Between These PSUs

I need help choosing a PSU for a gaming build that I'll be doing in a few months time. I'm all in on the RGB bandwagon and as such, Corsair products make up a large chunk of my build. When it comes to the PSU, I'm having a tough time deciding between the following:

1. Seasonic Prime Ultra Titanium 850W - https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151196&cm_re=seasonic_prime_ultra_titanium-_-17-151-196-_-Product

2. Corsair HX850 Platinum - https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139203&cm_re=corsair_hx859-_-17-139-203-_-Product

I've heard around the internet on various forums that Seasonic is the absolute best of the best. Considering what I'm spending on this build, I don't mind paying the extra for a better PSU. As such, I'm currently leaning towards the Seasonic. Having said that, are there any significant differences between the two other than the extra PCI-E ports and the Titanium rating? How does the build quality compare between Seasonic and Corsair? One other small factor in the Corsair's favour is that it's easier to find CableMod kits for it, which is a little important to me, but not overly so.

Below is my parts list for reference:

Seasonic all day every day. Corsair is trash for the price you are paying for it.

I have the Seasonic Prime Titanium (the one before the Ultra) it is absolutely fantastic. Cables are super easy to work with, comes with more than you will ever need, and is dead silent and looks fantastic.

It should be noted half my build is Corsair as well. I love almost everything they make but some things they have are just blown away by competitors.

I have a K95 (v2 not the Platinum), a Dark Core SE, an MM800 Polaris mouse pad, VOID Pro Wireless headset, the ST100 RGB headset stand, H115i (original not Pro), 5 LL140 fans, Vengeance RGB RAM kit, and a 750D case.

The things of theirs I refuse to buy:

SSD's, Samsungs are better and in most cases...

The seasonic has better certification. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/80_Plus
Even on this tier list they are both in the top tier and you cant go wrong with it. https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/

The seasonic is Titanium which means 94% at 50% load. That is amazing with very little heat. It should use less electricity also in the long run and last longer. Go with that I would say.

Yeah, I figured both are excellent choices, which is what makes it a tough call. Will the 94% vs 92% actually be a significant difference over time? Like I said, I'm leaning towards the Seasonic, but I'm just curious if it's really worth the extra cash. The Seasonic is definitely the sexier looking unit, I'll give it that.

SSD's, Samsungs are better and in most cases cheaper too. Will never own a Corsair SSD until they either make them RGB somehow or make them cheap enough to be on par with Samsungs at least on a price-performance level.

PSU's, Corsair just rebrands their PSU's they don't actually make them. Seasonic actually makes their PSU's. That particular PSU is on par with EVGA's G3 line, with the G3 being substantially cheaper. Tom's review:

Only thing it has going for it is that it is dead silent, however the Seasonic Prime will also be dead silent. I should know I have one.

There is literally no reason to buy Corsair PSU's or SSD's unless you are just really brand loyal and want all their stuff.

This seems to be the prevailing opinion. If you don't mind me asking, what would you say is the biggest difference in quality in comparing Seasonic to other PSU companies (specifically Corsair)? Is it simply superior build quality? Is it higher grade components? A combination? Something else? Just curious since you seem to really know what you're talking about. What do you think of the rest of my build? Suggestions for improvements? Thanks! :)

Seasonic Prime all day long.

I have 2 Prime Ti's, 650W and 750W.

For the rest of your build there is too much to cover by typing. There are a lot of things I would do differently. I would be happy to discuss it but it would take a while for me, and take up too much space here. You can send me a private message if you really want my opinion and we can set up a chat.
