Wireless adapter causing ping spikes

Now I'm using dlink DWA-548 desktop adapter but i experience a serious ping spikes which jump from 4-5 to 1900+ every 5-7 seconds. But when i try plug Ethernet and also use another laptop (wifi) do the ping test on cmd i see that don't have this problem. So i believe is my desktop adapter causing ping spikes.
Someone can help me solve it please.

Well if you think it's the adapter it's a no-brainer - - change it.

I don't rate D-Link stuff very highly anyway - - - TP-Link or Netgear a much better choice.
