HP ML110 with 2 x BarraCuda Sata's detected, softwared and working fine. M.2 SSD enablement card fitted with 2 x samsung 970 Pro 1tb drives. Problem is that non of the SSD's are being detected and the riser card is not being detected. HP not very helpful. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

With enablement card you mean product number 878783-B21 right?

The M.2 SSD enablement card needs to be connected via SATA (there are two SATA connectors on the card) to the onboard RAID controller. The PCI lanes in the enablement card only provide power to the M.2 SSD's and you hit the bottleneck of the SATA 600 ports. Also, NVME SSD's wont work because you need SATA M.2 SSD's.

advice about what hardware exactly? you have provided zero details regarding what, model number, make etc... enablement card means nothing and now you have folks guessing'

indeed it sounds like you are plugging nvme drives into a pcie sata card which will never work.
