Hi guys, I got a new MOB
JavaScript:
O, ram and CPU.
I installed everyhing and I was getting constant BSOD, reinstalled windows 10 several times but still happened.
After messing with the ram I got these results:
*Let's call one stick of ram A and the other one B*
2 sticks of ram: BSOD
1 stick of ram A: works perfectly
1 stick of ram B: BSOD

So one of the sticks (Stick B) won't work. It gets recognized by windows and everything but it just crashes to a BSOD everytime I use it.
Right now im only using one stick of ram (Stick A) and it works flawlessly, been using my pc all day and it just works.
I've updated my BIOS but nothing.
The fact that just one stick won't work leads me to believe that Stick B is faulty, but I bought them online and getting them replaced would be a pain in the ass, so if I could fix it myself that would be great. What can I try? Could it be my motherboard? Cpu maybe? Im truly lost.

Specs btw:
Mobo: AORUS GAMING 5 Z370
CPU: I7 8700K (Stock speed RN)
RAM: Tridentz gskill RGB 2x8GB

Solution
Nope, most likely the RAM is indeed faulty, you'll have to endure that pain in the ass of getting it replaced. Just to be 100% sure, you could try putting in just Stick B, and running memtest86(first you'll need to create a bootable USB by just using Stick A in your system, or just use a different system). In fact, you can go ahead and test both of the sticks with memtest, though that will increase the time taken for each pass, but might as well be safe than sorry.
