Right, after 8 hard years, i finally decided to upgrade from my 2gb ram to 8GB ram. Paid a nice 50$ and guess what, it doesn't work, hurray life.

Here's the problem, when i put in 8 gb, it just got stuck in boot, then i installed 4gb and it manages to get into bios but i'm not sure what i'm supposed to do there tbh. It just starts launching the windows and a wild blue screen appears:

Ram i bought :

My mobo:

My old and new ram:

What do i do? I tried to set the speed to 1333 and voltage to 1.5 in bios but the same blue screen when windows is about to load. And when i insert full 8 gb, it won't even get past the boot screen (mobo name)

Thats not the ram you ordered that you got. Wouldn't be suprised if it's some refurbished sticks that don't function properly.

Question from ProCs1 : "RAM blue screen problem"

Thats the problem with the first gen with new ram. For best chance you should've gotten 1333mhz.
