I was planning to upgrade one of my rigs to a Ryzen 5 2600 ($190 USD), but now I now see that NewEgg has a 4th of July sale for the Ryzen 7 1700, at $220. According to Userbenchmark, the Ryzen 5 2500 has the slight edge. Opinions please.
