SUDDEN LAG IN all games

I disconnected my monitor by mistake and when I connected it back my games started lagging all of them
What could be it

Did you try the simple stuff like unplugging the monitor from mains supply for a few seconds, plugging it back in then rebooting your PC?

Yes, now I'm reinstalling my gpu gtx 1060 4gb drivers

Good luck, I hope you used DDU to uninstall existing driver first - - can be problematic if any remnants of old driver package is left behind.

I used the Nvidia GeForce experience to do that and it worked. My games are back to normal thanks for trying to help me
