Getting back genuine windows :(

I have an Msi gaming laptop that came with a preinstalled genuine windows 8.1 home edition. At some point i decided to switch to windows 8.1 pro which was not legit, i used a Windows activator tool. I then updated it to 10.1, after using it for some time i can tell that the difference between a genuine windows copy and a cracked one is gigantic and i see now that ive made a huge mistake. My laptop never came with a Windows Cd, or a Windows activation code cuz i believe all that info is stored on the chipset. Is there a way for me to go back to the genuine windows i actually own? All help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

There should be a sticker on the underside of your laptop with your original key on it. Download a copy of 8.1 home and do a clean install.

I already checked it all, no key on the laptop..

Does the original Factory Reset partition still exist on the drive?
If so, invoke that and return it back to out of the box condition.

If not, you'll have to contact MSI and obtain the DVD for that. This may cost a few $$.

If you don't want to go through all that, technically you should be able to purchase a 10 key in the flavor you want and go to the "change my product key" prompt. 10 will take care of the rest.

Buy a genuine key off ebay, I pay about $8 for Win10 64 pro. Otherwise if you don't have a key sticker or cert of authenticity its gone.

I will try to Delete all and factory reset, if that doesnt work then i dont know...
