i have an i5 4210u cpu 4 gigs of ram (700ghz) and an nvidia 820m.
as i said laptop cpu and gpu gets too hot while playing games like csgo minecraft or half life(which i should run pretty easily) cputemps rise up to 79c sometimes 87 is this normal or is it a cause for concern?
in case anyone asks i already opened the laptop cleaned the fans and motherboard from dust.updated all my drivers and made a virus scan.
what do you think is making my laptop this hot and what would you suggest as a solution

pls help me out, because as of now, im afraid to play any game to avoid lighting my laptop on fire.
thanks.

Solution
the cpu on the laptop is usually hotter than the desktop due to airflow and laptop design, but if the thermal paste already dry you can replace it with new thermal paste.
You don't mention the fan. As the temps rise, does the fan make more noise as it spins faster? If not, then maybe the fan isn't working right.

You might also try capping framerate and seeing if that helps. For instance, if your laptop can run CSGO at 60fps, cap the framerate to 60fps. If you run it uncapped and your laptop runs it at a higher rate then it'll heat up unnecessarily.

yes the fan does make some noise.
you said to cap csgo at 60 fps how do i do that ? and is that even possible to do in other games?(because i don't plan to play csgo only)
do you think i need to change the thermal past ?
