Ethernet keeps going off and on

I have recently put togheter a pc. But there is a problem. My ethernet keeps going on and off all the time. I have tried different kabels and everything, but nothing helps. Does anyone have any ideas. (Sorry for poor english)

in windows power settings make sure the ethernet port is not set to turn off. make sure you have the newest mb chipset drivers installed and make sure your ethernet drivers are up to date. also as it a new build make sure the mb bios is up to date.

How are you deternining that your ethernet is going on and off all the time? And what is the time frame you are seeing the issues? It is doing this once per sec or once per 10 minutes?
