new pc, Ethernet wont work

I built a new pc for my friend using a Gigabayte Z270 HD3 and we can't seem to find the right drivers on the internet to install to get the Ethernet to work. We have the CD for the drivers but can't install them because no one has a disk drive. does anyone have a solution to our problems

Go into device manager and ensure that it is indeed a Intel network device. Next uninstall the driver if available from there as well.

The only thing I would then try is to reinstall windows.

Which drivers? We have tried installing the lan and chipset driver but it says it can't install due to no intel adapters, so we tried to install Intel network adapters from the website and it still gave us the same error
