Its been a while

Building one for a friend. How is it? Trying to run Rainbow Six Siege at highest fps (60 min) and settings possible. No OC on any part. Questioning if the ram will work or not since it is a bit quick for the chipset.

Revised? Little Suspicious of the Ram. Would prefer the GSkull Ripjaws V/4 series. Anyone know what the warranty is on this Ram?

Perfect if you pair it with a 75hz freesync monitor.
Leave the cpu to auto settings, it will xfr boost to 4.2ghz on it own.

Anyone else have suggestions? Revised build.

The i5-8400 and GTX1070Ti combo is around 45-50% more powerful than i5-8400 and GTX1060 combo which is a huge gain.

I left out the OS as even without activating Windows10 you can run all the programs and games normally without any limitation. The only limiting factors will be some basic features which will not affect performance in any way. You can gift him the key later or he can buy it if he needs it. Compromising hardware to get Windows activated is not worth it as with better hardware you get better performance which is very important.
