u see ive seen that u only need 512mb of vram to run ac4.
my specs are i3-7100u,8GBram,Intel hd 620...now i know that intel hd 620 has only 128 deidcated video ram....i follwed a guide and manged to increase it to 256mb(thats wut it teels me in dxdiag now)
But i cant seem to get ac4 to rn in solid 30fps. i got black flag from the steam summersale for 5$ so its really not a big loss for me..
But i am really annoyed that intel hd 620 is such a bad gpu.
then again i wonder if its becuz my processor is only 2.4Ghz and the minimum cpu seed for c4 is 2.6ghz.
any opnions appreciated
btw im a poor guy 'P living in Asia:(

Solution
You don't have a GPU, Intel HD 620 is graphics architecture built into the CPU.

I can tell you a few tweaks that are commonly known to increase performance, but with spec that low I'm not sure it will help much if at all.

First off, turn Particle Physics completely off. It's broken and causes stuttering.

Second, do not use in game Vsync, turn it off. Don't even try forcing vsync with an external app, your spec is too low for that.

Lastly, when in game, use W10 lockscreen (Windows key + L), then click the screen to sign back in and click on the minimized game icon on the taskbar to relaunch it. This will simulate triple buffering and make the game run smoother.
