So I used to have 4x1GBs of DDR2 800 MHz RAM (Kingston KTC1G-UDIMM) Today, I bought 3 sticks of 2GBs and now I can't watch videos in 1080p60 or play San Andreas. (I'm serious, San Andreas lags, but only San Andreas lol) My new RAM is Samsung M3 78T5663EH3-CF7. Maybe is it because I left and old stick in the 4th slot? It used to write Ganged Mode, now it isn't. Will removing that old stick of 1GB fix my problem, or it's faster to use 2x2+2x1? Thanks for your answers, and I hope you can understand my questions, my grammar is pretty bad I know.

I just said not to mix and match ram, so I have no idea why 2x2 + 2x1 would be faster. You should ideally not even mix ram that didn't come from the same package, to say nothing of entirely different clocked/timing ram.

Ram works best in sets of twos for performance's sake, so 2x( ) or 4x( ) if you have a newer quad-channel compatible board.

Use your 3x2, don't mix any of the other RAM in, you're just going to make things unstable and not work very well.
