Before answering, I would like you to just read what I have to say first.

My pc case is a Corsair carbide spec 01. I was originally planning on getting a 240mm aio until finding out that it only supported 120mm aios- otherwise I’d have to dismantle the drive bay. With the spec 01 space is limited so I can’t really risk buying one of the popular air coolers like noctua and cyrorig because I’m not sure whether it could fit my case.

Since I am not overclocking, any 120mm aio would work fine with my cpu. I’m aware that I could get a much better price value with an air cooker, but I’m really leaning towards a water cooler because of the clean aesthetics.

So for my situation, would it be ok to just get a decent 120mm aio (like the CM Seidon 120V V3)? Or should I just purchase an air cooler that can fit my case?
