Hey guys, thinking about upgrading my gaming PC which is about 7 years old. Not looking to spend any more than $1200 as ill my keeping my current GPU for now (GTX 960). Would like to stick with Intel CPU and Asus motherboard just based on preference and would like to overclock my CPU slightly like maybe 4.5GHz ish? but nothing crazy like 5.0GHz etc.
What I'm currently sitting at is:
GPU: my current Nvdia GTX 960 4GB (for now)
CPU:Intel i5-8600K
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 (currently running Noctua NH-D15 so might just keep that too)
Motherboard: No idea so suggestions would be great for this
Memory: GSkill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3200
Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 500GB SSD (+ my 2 old HDD's)
Case: NZXT H500i
Power Supply: Corsair RMx 850W 80+ Gold Fully-Modular ATX

Looking forward to hearing your guys' suggestions on whether that's a decently solid system for my budget or if I should tweak some of those parts.

I would take the Noctua NH-D15 over an AIO anyday...

If Noctua can fit H500i use Noctua. PSU is a bit overkill, you can go to 750 model. For overclocking you need z370 chipset. So if I were you, since its CAD Id get more RAM since you probably wont only have CAD tools open. Calculate the price and tell me how much is left without mobo and with RM 750. And I can probably be of more help. (I dont know prices in your country and in mine they are quite inflated)

As of right now I'd be looking to spend about $150-$200 on the motherboard.
