is this too hot? also, 9 year old noctua nh-14 or new aio water cooler

I tried testing my stuff and it appeared that if I play gta v online one 1 monitor (4 stars, using as many explosives as I can and as much fire as I can, and as many things going on at once as I can all while moving on a train) on ultra (everything on the highest setting possible including motion blur on max) and youtube on the 2nd monitor. my gpu gets to about the mid 60c degrees and my cpu about mid 40c... are those too high? im pretty sure the cpu is okay but the gpu seems high...
both monitors are 1080p 60hz although one of those should change soon to 2k 144hz

specs: cpu i7-8700k
gpu: gtx 1080 rog strix (3 fans)
ram: 16gb 2400mhz crosair
motherboard: asus z370-h rog strix
cpu cooler: noctua nh-d14

heres the thing: i only played for about 35 mins to test it, so it might be abit higher and especially because my pc has only 1 fan, so it slowly should build up alot of heat in there. i am going to buy a new case (nzxt h440, with 3 120mm fans and 1 140mm fan) and im going to buy a new cpu cooling BUT the question in place is, do i switch my cooler or not. my old pc has gone to my dad but he needs a cpu cooler and a case so my question is, do i give the nh-d14 to my dad and keep the new one or keep the nh-14 and give him the new one... the new one is probably gonna be an aio water cooler, at about 150$ price range or so. mind you, this nh-14 is about 9-7 years old and is full of dust (i cleaned it best i could but its still full of it) and from what i saw it goes at about 950 rpm maybe 900/1000 which is kinda low as it should go 1200/1300
thanks in advance bois

thanks for the info, but its not a matter of if I need, its a matter of whats better, cause I am going to buy an aio but I dont know if its better or worse than what I have now (I dont have the nh-d15 btw, I have the im pretty sure its discontinued nh-d14. also I need to look good and the one im rolling right now looks like a giant engine block that blocks everything and id rather have a more compact system inside and a better looking one as im planning on moving my pc on top of the desk instead of below it as its gonna have SHINY SHINY LEDS inside (Sorry I had to)

edit: I have now read that noctua has the nh-d15 in chromax meaning in an actual good coloring... how does one buy that tho… I only see on amazon the fans themselves but from what I can see the whole thing should come colored
2nd edit: apparently those are heatsinkers… that are on top and make it black... I really should just read everything before I edit...

The GPU has its own heatsink and fan.

The only thing that can help is better case airflow. So look at you case fans and add an extra if it is needed.

You can look at a bigger case with bigger airflow.

Think of the giant heatsink as a bonnet scoop for your CPU.

I am not going to argue on the bling question (I turn off all me LED and mask any that I can't).

The NH-D14 is a good heatsink and will be ok in your father's new build. You can clean the dust out of the cooler with vacuum and or cotton bud sticks.
The speed of the CPU fan is adjusted by the motherboard as CPU temperature rises.

The fact that it os not spinning on max means the CPU temperature is ok.

I use the NH-D14 on most of my computers and run mine at about 500RPM

When they hit the max you have a problem.
Idle GPU temp is perfectly normal, because fans probably aren't moving.
70 is not that high, it's warm yes, but if it gets too high (ceiling temp) it automatically slows down so nothing to worry about.
My ageing 4790k runs 60-75 all day long while I am crunching numbers, the h115i I have helps keep it at this temp, so any decent cooler won't let it get high.
You are worrying about nothing.

actually my gpu has 3 fans lol but my question is, nh-d15 or aio water coolr

I also live in a fairly hot country (we get maybe worse case scenario 40 in the middle of summer, but usually at summer like 25-35 and 10-25 in winter...) and I also like it quiet so I guess I will go with an aio. thanks for all this help!
now. choosing brand... antec/nzxt/corsair/arctic/cooler master. those are my choices, after I choose brand ill choose specific product. which brand do you like? I guess crosair lel

I use the website www.guru3d.com and specifically he does excellent reviews on AIOs/Coolers in general.
The 115i I like, because I like the Corsair Software and this is really really really quiet. The cooling is amazing, and can only be beaten by a few but the noise is my main concern and nothing really touches it on that.
I think the balance is perfect.

I also live in a hot (and humid) climate with same temperature range.

I have no issue just using an air cooler and have never needed liquid.

I tend to run my computers fanless as I hate noise, so naturally I cant overclock.

For what its worth I run a R5 2600 with a fanless 1050Ti.
