1080 sli power cable setup

two 1080, plan to run sli.
PSU: crosshair RM850x
There are four 8pin to 2x 2+6 cables provided.
Can I use one cable to power both card or I need one for each ( which is a nightmare for cable management). Thanks!

To make it clear. It’s a 8pin to 2 2+6 pin cable. So one cable can be connected to both cards. But I have no idea will this cause any damage to the card or psu? I really don’t want to use two of these though. Cause i’ll end up with two 2+6 hanging around.
