Hi I need help on getting the best sound settings for fortnite. I just bought the logitech g933 gaming headset and there is a lot of settings in its software. Can anyone tell me if the dolby atmos or the dts x is better for fortnite on hearing footsteps?. Theres also the stereo wide or front for the dts x and fps or 7.1 or the logitech settings for it and the dolby atmos is just dolby atmos. So which one is the best soround sound for fortnite? Or nothing at all? Just the original headset with no soround? .....

I also need help on the best Equalizer settings for this game. Please help me .
I CANT FIND ANYTHING OR ANY HELP ANYWHERE FOR THIS SPECIFIC HEADSET AND THIS GAME. I HOPE THIS SITE COULD HELP. ME .PLEASE THANK YOU.

Atmos and DTS-X are both "object based" formats, which means they open up the sound stage to not just normal front, rear, and center audio positioning, but also sounds above. When you consider Atmos in home theater setups is geared toward extra channels that support speakers placed in or aimed at the ceiling, one might assume it's more restricted in it's sound stage, and that DTS-X might be more flexible in that regard. However you never really know until you try the different modes, especially since we're talking about simulation of channels vs actual speakers as in a home theater setup. For that matter DTS-X might adapt better to that, since it already uses simulation vs ceiling speakers, but again, you never know until you actually...

I would suggest you get together with a friend you play with online and have him/her sneak up on you from various angles to test each mode. That way you'll know for sure which works best.

As far as EQ settings, that would require trial and error testing too. Basically what you want to do is slightly amplify the frequencies of the footsteps most difficult to hear, which in that game would probably be the ones on grass. You'd have to play around with the EQ sliders while a friend sneaks on grass to determine which one helps you hear it the best.
