This is what my son currently has:
AsRock Z77 Pro 4 LGA 1155
Intel G630 Sandy Bridge Dual-Core 2.7 LGA 1155 65w
Sapphire Radeon HD 7700 GHz 1GB Office is all that is installed
WD Blue 1TB Hard Drive - All Other programs installed
8GB (2x4GB) G.Skill Ripjaws X Series DDR3 SDRAM 1333
700 Watt PC Power and Cooling ModXSTREAM 80+

Is it worth moving to an i5-3470($130), upgrading the video card, or just start over with e new budget build. This build was pretty good for under $500. He does the majority of gaming on his Xbox, some gaming on the desktop and will be taking the box to college. If you have thoughts on video card upgrade I'm trying to stay under $200.

Thanks

The G630 is pretty underhwelming and, assuming you could pick up a better CPU for cheap enough

i5-3570K

i7-2600K

Then it could be a viable option, paired with a stronger GPU.

New, even a GTX1050/1050TI would be great pairing....
