Ram speed matter when you dont have dedicate GPU ?

It has been brought to my attention when i look at benchmark of League of legends game using Intel graphic 630
most have the benchmarks on youtube has between 60-50 fps of this game with full setting at 60 fps average.

now i come across this video

when he has Ram speed 3000mhz

and this one had 2400Mhz ram speed.

you can see the first video have average 100fps
when the second video have average of 70-60.


when it come to pc with no Dedicate GPU do you think RAM speed can increase your FPS at around 30 like showing here ?

i know there is a lot have change/unknow variables in this comparison

However, you have to appreciate that the CPU and motherboard might prevent some RAM speeds. Best to look at mobo RAM QVL list.

Edit: However, however :D, there won't be a huge difference between 1600 and 1866, or between 1866 and 2133. Small differences, yes. The difference between 1600 and 2400, or 2400 and 3200 will be significant.

The thing is for Intel memory doesn't matter as much for the GPU so if there's a great difference between say 2400 and 3200 it maybe worth it to see how much a 1030 GT (GDDR5 memory) cost as it will be much better than the internal gpu.

i looking to buy PC now and invest in Gpu later for now i play mostly league of legends.
i just wanted to know if i can get 30 fps more if i invest more 20-30$ into Ram speed.

i want to buy i7 8700, and gigabyte-z370-hd3 motherboard, in this website it said i can use up to 4000mhz
the question is can i ?

and there is any difference between i7 8700 to i7 8700k when it come to ram speed support i came across this comment :

If you want RAM speed above 266 with that CPU, you have to use Z370 motherboard. Can't say what 'everyone' says, but for non-K CPU, going above natively supported RAM speed makes little sense (esp for Intel CPU) unless you use comp for work that will be affected by faster RAM. For gaming it almost does not matter.
If you don't want to overclock, you don't have to set up anything like voltage etc - it's build and play. The only thing would be boot order, and only if you use more than 1 drive.
