Gtx 1080 low fps, low gpu usage helpp!!!

In fallout 4 fps are just 38 (constant) kingdom come deliveremce (70+) frostpunk (70+) consodering i am running on 1080p i expected a lot more
My rig
Giga h310m ds2
I5 8400
8 gb ram (ddr 4 2400 mhz)
Inno3D gtx 1080

Whats your cpu/gpu usage on fallout 4? Are you using a 75hz monitor? It might be Vsync misbehaving causing it to stay locked at ~38 mark.

Cpu usage is under 50% and update: gpu uage is actually less than 30!!!!, yeah its a 75 hz monitor( adjustable to 60) and i cant find vsync settings in fallout 4 launcher, if i find one should i turn it on or off?

I am pretty sure you have to edit the settings .ini to disable it. There are plenty of guides available that will show you the exact file location and line that needs to be changed (from memory its something like iPresentInterval=1 change it to 0)

Do you have Vsync or any kind of fps limitation enabled? What PSU are you using? Have you tried a clean install of your drivers?

Disablinf vsync for fallout 4 worked like charm, psu is antac vp600p and i newly built my pc so there were no opd drivers i downloaded latest from geforce exp and did an express install

Well it seems that you have Vsync enabled for the rest of your titles either through the Nvidia control panel or the game settings themselves-basically what vsync does (explained really badly) it will only produce the maximum fps your monitor can display. This will eliminate screen tearing but it can cause input lag.

What is your cpu usage on said games? How are your temps looking?

Cpu usage fluctautes frequently going as high as 95 one instant and 20 the ither and so on, temps are under 60 for both cpu and gpu, however when i run kombuster benchs gpu utilization goes to 98 and stays, fps go above 250, and cpu too is under full load
