I am having CRC failed issue for all the files that I download, tried following steps but no avail.
- Full system deep scan using AVG
- Uninstalled antivirus
- Disabled firewall
- changed network cable
- Used Wifi dongle
- Removed one ram module
- Used only the removed one ram module ( using both ram modules one by one)
- BIOS have default settings
- Set BIOS AI tweaker to auto
- RAR and ZIP repair tools
- Used different browsers
- Used Private mode of browsers
- Memtest86+ 0 errors
Files that I was downloading and failing: WD Lifeguard tool, Corsair CUE, hyperX NGenuity. , HWMonitor
System Specs:
- i7-8700k
- ASUS Z370-F mobo
- G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) (PC4 25600) F4-3200C16D-16GTZR
- Corsair H80i v2 cooler
- ASUS ROG Strix GTX 1070ti Advanced
- Win10 pro
- Samsung EVO 970 250GB M2
- WD Elements portable external 4TB
- WD black 2TB internal
Note: Its a new system build and OS (1 month ago), Never OC'd my system.
I did one test which worked but that's not ideal solution for me, I created new windows user and downloaded same files from that user and it worked, downloaded, extracted and installed the tools which wasn't working in my main user.
What could be the reasons, any suggestion?
