Will an upgrade from a system w/ AMD FX 8350 and GTX 750ti to a GTX 1060 6gb be worth it?

I am wanting to upgrade my GPU from a 750ti to a 1060 6gb. I have been reading on the 8350 paired with the 1060 and have found out there is a bottleneck. Along with that, I've seen answers that said the bottleneck is severe and the bottleneck is not very bad. So i just want some clarification on the whole bottleneck issue. I am planning on upgrading my CPU and Motherboard in the future (Around Thanksgiving/Christmas time 2018 is the plan, but may change), but as of right now I am just looking to upgrade my GPU. The reason for doing so is I am wanting to play more AAA and more demanding games on my PC. Like the upcoming Fallout 76 and games like that. Thanks for reading.

My System specs are-
CPU- AMD FX-8350 with Hyper 212 Evo cooler
GPU- GTX 750ti
MOBO- Gibabyte (GA-970A-DS3P)
16 gb of ram
750 watt power supply

Any answer will help. And again, I am wanting to know how bad, if any, the bottleneck will be with the 1060 gb paired with the FX 8350. :)

Solution
I currently have an FX 8350 and a GTX 1060 6gb Gigabyte Windforce oc edition. I don't have any problems with this setup other than Battlefield 1. I have no idea why, but the game runs like a potato getting under 35 fps no matter what video setting I am using and neither CPU or GPU is maxed out. Other than BF1, every other game I have played runs great, BF4 gets 80+ fps at 150% resolution ultra settings and another game, Mirrors Edge, runs above settings on Hyper settings. I think the bad performance in BF1 is due to DDR3 16g ram being outdated and my power supply, which is 400 W. I just ordered a new 650 W Thermal Take PSU and if that does make any difference I will be sure to update. Good luck with your setup!
I think it will work great and it won't bottleneck.

I say this because I have run a 1060 6GB with two processors slower than yours (per passmark)....and I7-920 and an i7-980...and the processors never maxed out.

Also, I'm able to play pretty much any game on max settings at 1080p at 60 Hz.

I think you will see a vast improvement over the 750 Ti.

As a fellow FX8350 owner though with a 1080, you'll be fine and likely see a decent uptick in frames and playability in general by moving up to the 1060. "Bottlenecking" depends on several factors and is largely dependent on optimization and your resolution. The more work you are able to put on the GPU, the less the CPU has to do. If you're not looking to ever go above 1080p, you should be fine.

Thats awesome because I plan on gaming 1080p at 60hz as well. Thanks for the response!

I don't plan on going over 1080p any time soon. So thats good to hear :D

I bought my 1080 for the sake of it being a solid upgrade over my 660Ti in addition to my desire and plan to build a new rig before too long. Even if I go 1440p, I should still be fine. I suspect you would be as well though at lower settings.

obviously there will be a bottleneck, sometimes it might be significant compared to something like a 8700k. but if you are staying at 1080@60, you should be fine for the most part. theres no doubt you will "feel" a huge performance boost over your 750ti.
