GTX 1050 works for 5 secs then stops

yeah hello boys there's not that much to tell i just bought a new GTX 1050 but for some reason it only works for like 5 secs then stops if you guys have any clue please help

specs:

PSU : corsair vs650
motherboard: intel DH61WW
CPU: intel core i3 3220 @ 3.30GHz
and ddr3 8 gb ram

5 seconds after you start the computer or 5 seconds after you start a game?
If it's game, then I would think heat or defective GPU RAM or something else physically wrong with the card.
If it's from when you boot, then it could be a ton of different things. If you go into BIOS does it also stop after 5 seconds?
