Getting LOW FPS help please

It seems i am having some FPS issues in general. mainly playing Destiny 2 and diablo 2. While in Destiny 2 i load in and my FPS is 14-20. Diablo i was getting about 100+, and ive seen it as low as 30.

computer specs.
CPU
Model: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHZ
GPU
Model: Radeon RS 480 4GB
MOBO:
Model MSI Z170-A PRO
RAM:
32GB of G.skill.

Well if it is running at 90c then your system is probably thermal throttling. Double check the temps using another software such as coretemp or HWmonitor. If they indeed hit 90c or so then there is an issue with your cooling solution. Check the pump and fans are actually running, check loose connections and perhaps even reinstall it to make sure its seated properly.

I assume you meant an RX 480? It's okay we all make mistakes. Also, what changes have you made to your system recently, hardware wise and software wise. New parts? Any driver updates? Windows updates usually cause this. New programs or games installed from sketchy places?

Only new parts was 16gb of ram. No one programs to my knowledge or updates that i know of either.

This is extremely frustrating as i do think i should be getting such low FPS

Well i run a NZXT kraken x52 water cooled heat sync. and it comes with software called CAM. it tells me my processor is 90 degrees celsius which im not sure if that is accurate or not. you'd think at the temp the inside of the computer would be hot or warm at very least. but its not.
