Hello Guys.

Got a problem with my pc constantly freezing while playing Most times the games freezes for 2 secs and then gets closest. But sometimes i need to restart the system because it stucks on the freezing.

Sometimes after 3 hours but mostly after 10-15 minutes. Allways. If i start i game i can bet on it to freeze some time later.

I got a new Gpu and the problem occured since then. My system.

Ryzen 1600
Asus B350-plus
24GB Vengeance Ram on 2133 Mhz (should be 2400)
Gpx 1080.
And a new PSU 650Watt.

So the only thing i changed is that i got the 1080 and additional ram. From 8 to 24. I made sure to buy the exact same ram with same clocks and speed. i got 2x4 andf 2x8.

Gpu driver is the newest. I also testet it by taking out the 2x4 ram. I made a memtest for an hour and it found nothing.

System is not overheating as the Temperatur is by about 50-60.

I tried to update my bios with that EZ update tool for my mainboard. Sadly it also freezed while doing that. Luckily my system is still running.

I think maybe the ram on 2133 Mhz is the problem. But i had it running like that before the new gpu and it never freezed once. Could the new 1080 be damaged? :/

I would be glad for any advice.

What exact power supply is that? Check Task Manager for any stray/suspicious tasks, and also run a virus scan with Malwarebytes.

The mixing and matching of RAM can cause problems no matter how much similarity there is, and your kits aren't exactly similar since two modules are 4 gigs and 2 modules are 8 gigs. I don't think such errors would be found by memtest86. Try running just the 2x8 kit, and make sure you're inserting them into the right slots(slot A2 and B2, that is, second and fourth from the CPU side).
