Greetings,
Recently I built a new computer, everything works fine except for my HDD (4TB), I installed my OS on a SSD.
The HDD shows up on device manager, but not in disk management ,or anything similar, to format it. Even third party software doesnt allow me to do it. I have reinstalled the drivers couple of times and disbled and reneabled it. Changed the SATA cables from the ssd to the hdd and nothing.
I tried to format it on another Computer, notices it is there, but wont allow me to format it.
Even tried to install windows on it without the SSD connected, but it says there are no drivers connected to install it on. In the BIOS, i says that the hard drive is connected to the sata port.
So my question is, is it broken and i should contact amazon to get a new one, or am i missing something obvious?
