This is my first time build, im building a PC with no SSD and no GPU (its for school purposes). I have a ASRock AB350M-HDV motherboard and a Ryzen 3 2200 processor. I'm just now seeing that there's issues with these two components with booting. I have no idea how to approach this issue, I've seen videos saying call the companies, that you need another compatible CPU (which I dont have).

Can someone please explain step by step what I need to do? I was in the middle of the build when i realized this issue: my cpu and stock cooler are already installed and mounted on the mobo.

Thank you

What you will need to do is submit a request to AMD for a "boot kit". Essentially, it's a low-end processor what works with your current motherboard enough to allow you to update your motherboard BIOS so that it will accept your new Ryzen 3 2200G processor.

Here is the page explaining how and a link to the RMA /Boot Kit Request form.
