razer keyboard goes unresponsive

I've had this razer chroma keyboard for years now and had no problems.
Hi,

From yesterday my keyboard has not been typing out onto my monitor and i am having to use the windows on screen keyboard.

The lights still show up and it is showing as connected on my PC.

I have tried:
Updating drivers
Updating razer synapse
Re-installing razer synapse
Switching USB ports on my PC
Restarting PC

ANY help is appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like the keyboard has reached its 'end of life' and died: However, before you replace it try cleaning it (usually blowing it out with canned air or an air compressor at about 40-60psi). Also, see if you can borrow or use another keyboard and if that keyboard works o.k then the Razer is probably dead. If a different keyboard does NOT work then there are other problems to look at.
Oh yea, you state you have tried other USB ports; good. But, do other USB items work in those ports -- in other words, have you confirmed that the USB ports are working?
