Hi I am having problems getting the speeds on my G-Box that I am getting on my wireless computer. Wired I am supposed to get 100 and when I do a speedtest I am only getting around 6 to 8 but with the wireless computer I get 90 or better. So how can I get better speeds to my box..........thanks..........two-dogs

This is wired with my wireless computer I get speeds of 85 and up but wired to my box I only get 7 to 9 and I have used other either net cables and have ruled out a cable problem...........thanks for replying.....two-dogs

How you know you're getting "7 to 9"? What is the unit of measure of this "7 to 9"?

On your laptop - disable WiFi, and connect same cable to it. What speeds you're getting there?

YOu have to dig in network settings of your box (sorry, thery're too many of these around to tell you where to go), and make sure it show "100 mbits/sec" connection, or more.

Ok when I hook up the cable to the computer my speed is over 100 mbps so it's not the cable when I hook up to the box I should get the same 100 mbps but am only getting sometimes speeds of 7 to 9 mbps

I've ran out of ideas - I doubt your unit is so old as to have 10mbit/s network adapter... Apart from this "G-Box Q3", is there any other identidiable information? Does your unit allow for firmware upgrade?

And last but not least: What you need more than 10mbit on TV box for?

I watch alot of KODI on my box and it buffers alot so I thought I needed more speed, so that is why I needed away to boost the speed but it doesn't
look like I can't do it...........
