I did a system reset and my computer still did the same thing so I went into safe mode and everything worked fine even did a stress test on my gpu up to 98% and ran fine went out of safe mode used amd removal tool to wipe my drivers reinstalled the latest ones from amd and started shutting off again and screen messing up so guess it is a software issue then?

i would try backing up your files and then trying a system restore or even reinstalling window or its your power supply most random shut offs that i have come across its one of those 2 things because if it was CPU or GPU it will give you a blue screen and it is possible that it is your motherboard but i haven't seen that before

It has to be the amd drivers I just installed them for the r9 280X graphics card and within minutes my computer shuts off again and tries to reboot I have to go in safe mode and remove the drivers and computer works fine I reinstall the drivers for my card crashes again.

Where are you getting the drivers for your graphics card, VisionTek or AMD? The VisionTek support page for your R9 280X only provides drivers for Windows 8/7/Vista, not Windows 10. Your motherboard also does not support Windows 10, it only supports up to Windows 8.1.

I'm getting the drivers from amd website for windows 10 but it is definitely a driver problem I think it is this https://appuals.com/video_tdr_failure-atikmpag-sys-windows-8-110/

About a month ago is around the time Microsoft released the fifth major update to Windows 10, so that could be why your problems started.

I already tried that restored my pc to windows 8 with my old restore disc and and same thing happens but my graphics card and computer will run fine in safe mode really getting mad now lol.

Running your graphics card in safe mode uses very basic video drivers, probably what Windows calls "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter", not the AMD drivers you would normally use.
