Hello,

I have an issue with my M.2 SSD - everything worked fine for months, until todays morning, when it is no longer detected by the BIOS. I can't boot Win10, as the system was installed on this M.2 SSD.

My configuration:
Motherboard: ASUS Z170P
SSD: ADATA M.2 2280 SP900NS38 256 GB
BIOS: 3805

Steps I've tried so far:
- rebooting
- unplugging the SSD physically and plugging it in again
- opening BIOS for 30 mins, then rebooting and repeating the process
- clearing the RTC RAM

None of the above has helped.

Here's the manual for my motherboard: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/Z170-PRO-GAMING/E10719_Z170_PRO_GAMING_UM_V2_WEB.pdf?_ga=1.72576147.1025112752.1463233656

I'll be grateful if you could share a solution.

Cheers

Solution
Contact the SSD vendor for support, it may be bad. Another thing you can try is see if the drive is seen in another system or in an external enclosure.
