Help! is my pc broken??

So i changed the shared memory of my ram to igpu from 256mb to 2gb without taking into account that I only have 4gb single channel ram. Now my pc wont display anything but the system unit lights up, only it does not display anything. Is my PC or any of its components busted? I just bought it so someone help me please :(

Unplug psu from wall, open sidepanel, remove shiny battery (also known as cmos), make sure that psu is switched on ( and not plugged in wall power, press and hold power button for 30s~, plug back battery, plug back psu into wall and power it up.
Report back if it worked or not.

well, it turns out that the mobo is busted as well. luckily it was still within warranty so they traded it with a new one. Thanks for everyone who helped.
