Integrated LAN card turns on and off at 5 second intervals

Recently(I mean like 30 mins ago), I found that my integrated network card is behaving as follows:
I boot up from hibernation, then it'd search for a network. About 5 seconds later, it would tell me there isn't an Ethernet wire plugged in. Few seconds later, it'd restart the entire process. At the jack, the light around it also turns off at "no wire plugged in" and turns back on at the "Searching for network"
This problem only started around 30 mins before I posted this post. I have tried the follows:
Hibernating and waking the PC up
Disabling and enabling the device
Shut down and cold restart
Reset the bios to "optimized defaults"
Removing and reinstalling the drivers
With no results.

I highly doubt that the integrated Ethernet controller is dead. The PC was bought at around 4 years ago also. If not, please let me know it's solutions. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure it not the router/modem to blame? Routers with bad memory can cause similar problems.
Otherwise there is not muc to do. Reinstall the LAN card driver, and if the issue still persists, buy a pci lan card. You can get a LogiLink PC0029A (PC0029A) or DeLOCK 89357, RJ-45 (89357) for $10

First check you cable it could be damage or RJ45 could not be plugged correctly.
This would be hard to analysis only with your integrated LAN. If you have external LAN please try to use it to see if the connect behave the same way.
The other think you could try is to connect your PC with patch cable to router and see the logs(dont connect the router to ISP just to see the connection between two device).
Direct connection between 1 device and you PC could show where is the problem.
