Can't down W and press 2, or hold down W and press caps lock.

I don't mind the caps lock thing, as it's been a thing since I first got this keyboard. I've had this keyboard for about 5 years now, and only today I noticed that I can't hold down W and press 2 at the same time. Now I'm a gamer, and I'm currently playing a game called fortnite and this is really handicapping me in terms of changing weapons. I have to stand and not press w inorder to be able to press 2.

Is there any fix to this?

You could always remap the keys for switching weapons in the game's settings. I rarely use the number keys for selecting weapons in games, as it tends to be awkward to reach them without taking your fingers off the directional inputs. Usually I just swap weapons using the mouse wheel, though that might not always work well in games that allow a large number of weapons to be carried at once. A mouse with a higher number of buttons can also help keep commonly used functions within easy reach.

As for your keyboard, it's probably a limitation of the hardware, as many keyboards aren't designed for handling uncommon combinations of keypresses. Reinstalling drivers probably won't help. What keyboard is it? A lot of higher-end keyboards will advertise things like n-key rollover or 6-key rollover, which is referring to the ability to press a certain number of keys at once without interference.

Everything's working fine in the keyboard checker, as for cryoburner :
I don't use a gaming keyboard as my country is very very poor, and a single dollar is 20 pounds here which will add up to about 2k pounds for a half decent gaming keyboard.

No worries though, I was able to fix it. For some odd reason, one of the side buttons on the keyboard was stuck (the mail one where it opens apps like microsoft word and stuff like that, it's an office keyboard so..) and I don't know why, but it's the reason why I was unable to hold w and press 2 at the same time. It wasn't spam opening microsoft word or anything, and I don't think I ever pressed this button but whatever a fix is a fix.
