I've recently just upgraded my system. I have the base components from my old system and was wondering if they are worth selling here in the UK?

The components I'll have available to sell are:
-AMD FX-8350 Black
-Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev 5)
-16GB (4x4GB) Kingston Hyperx Blu
-1TB Seagate HDD
-AVP Commander X8 (Case)

I used PSU (CX650) and GPU (Gigabyte GTX 1080) in my new system and have already sold both of these items that I had originally

would be worth it just to regain some of the money on the new build. drop a cheap psu/gpu in it like a 1030 and a non rated 500w and sell as good working entry level gaming pc. here in the us that would bring about 300usd

you might be able to get between 80-120$ for it. computer parts really loose there value over time. i would say it really depends. how slimier is it to your current PC? it could really be in your benefit to hold onto them for troubleshooting down the line.

The memory has quite a bit of value since memory prices are quite high, so you could consider selling that separately. I would not put a GPU or PSU in it (unless you bought some used parts of your own, but really let the buyer deal with that)

Try selling the CPU/Motherboard/RAM/CPU cooler as a set. Keep the hard drive for yourself.

You can try selling the case locally, they are typically not worth the price of shipping.

I couldn't use any of it, old system was obviously AM3 socket and DDR3 memory. I have now got a R5 2600X, so AM4 and DDR4 so not useful in the sense of troubleshooting
