Is this build bottlenecked?

Hello, so recently I built myself a pretty budget gaming rig (teenager budget). I got most of the components from an old PC my brother had but didn't use anymore. From his PC I recovered an AMD Athlon II X3 455, 2x4GB of DDR3 1333 MHz RAM sticks, an MSI MS-7641 motherboard, a 500GB Seagate Pipeline HDD and a 500W PSU, and now I only need a graphics card. After some research I decided that I would buy a Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 TI 2GB, but I'm affraid my system will be bottlenecked. Is my choice a good one, and if not, what graphics card would be better suited for my build? Also, is an SSD necessary, or is it used just for faster boot times?

Solution
You might be ok but both of those games were quite demanding in their day.

Just wanted to make sure you were managing expectations so not to be disappointed after spending on all this.

I mostly want to play 2010-2014 games, like Skyrim and the Borderlands series and some modern indies and modded minecraft. Like I said, I'm on a teenager budget and can't really afford much. If it runs on 30 fps or smoother at 720p or 1080p then I'm satisfied.
