Low FPS on Fortnite using GTX 1050 Ti

My GPU is the GTX 1050 Ti (4GB) and my CPU is the Intel i5 7300HQ and I have 8GB of 2400MHz DDR4 RAM. No matter what, even slightly over clicking the GPU to around 1860MHz, Fortnite refuses to run at even a smooth 60 FPS on the lowest settings. Also, my GPU and CPU hardly ever reaches and never goes past 80 degrees Celsius so overheating isn't the problem. Windows was just installed not so long ago so I doubt that a virus could be the cause. Does anyone have an idea on why this is happening and potential ways to fix it?

Did you recently get the GPU?
Did you reinstall/update Drivers?
My suggestion would be to go into the BIOS and try to see what you can do.
other then that i out of ideas

Yes I recently got it and the drivers are all up to date using Nvidia's softwares.
