Lga 1156 best processor

I have are i5 750 right now and I want to upgrade since it bottlenecks my gpu what is the best processor that fits my board.
My rig
It 750 2.66 ghz
Gt 1030 2gb gddr5 pascal architecture
And 8 gb of ddr3 1333mhz
Any ideas on something that won't bottle neck this? As a side not my gpu runs most games on high at 60fps but my cpu says no I only like low-medium settings at 60fps

Are you sure that the 1030 is not your bottleneck.
Is your CPU running 100% while gaming?

What motherboard do you have? That will be your determining factor. An i7 on this legacy platform will not buy you much improvement for gaming.

You really need a new CPU, Motherboard and RAM

My cpu is 96-100 while my gpu is at 60-70 on lowest settings on pubg my frames are solid 60.

I have the same motherboard MS-7613 brought pc rig off ebay. Personally I would just buy a whole new motherboard and CPU with 8 cores than spend the $110 on a CPU that still want be as powerful. You can easily find a newer motherboard and a 8 core CPU for no more that $250 buy use it would be $200 maybe under. I'm going AMD Ryzen cpu if you were wondering.
