I was thinking on gettin a 1080 for my i7-8700k and 16DDR4 memory, but wanted to see the best brand for the price. I was thinking on the Evga GTX1080 FTW-FTW2, but is this card really worth the price? OR which is better?

Solution
If you read the pro reviews, what you'll end up with is a bunch of 1080's that all look slightly different, and have a few different options even though performance is pretty similar. Some like the aggressive looks of the PowerColor series, some want the service/support of Evga, some like the extra headers on the Asus or the coloring of the MSI.
You need to decide just what your personal needs/wants/aesthetics are, just what fits your build, what's on sale locally or online etc because each brand/model will have its own things that set it apart.
I've been a fan of Asus for more years than many have been alive, I've seen MSI rise from the Ashes, Gigabyte has always been strong, but nobody comes close to Evga's customer support.

I have a GTX 1080 FTW2 and I can say it's worth it. :)

Runs cool and quiet.

The guts of all GTX1080 cards come from the same place, namely Nvidia.
The cards will be binned, and the better ones will get better coolers and higher factory overclocks.

I think you get fair value from a factory overclocked card.
I think I would not chase the highly overclocked cards, pay a bit more for a GTX1080ti if you need the extra power.

As to brands, I like EVGA for their good USA based support and forum.
They also offer a 90 day trade up option which might get some use for a upcoming GTC11xx card.

You probably know this but just to make sure all the cards that are gtx 1060s are all specification-ly and basically the same except for the design/look and the fan.

How does the trade up work? Is it valid on Mexico? Do I need to pay the difference?

It's a good MB for sure, I haven't seen any cons yet.

Gaming 7?

That's up to you really, either one you pick is fine.

Read the details on the EVGA web site.
You need to register within 30 days(which you should do anyway for the longer warranty)
And, you need to upload a copy of your invoice from a authorized seller.
That establishes the trade up price.

In Mexico? I don't know
