I have i7 7700 and I use stock cooler, when idle my pc is 33c ish doesn’t go very high but when I play battlefield 1 my cpu reaches high 70 and hits 80 for some seconds then goes back down to high 70, is it safe or do I need a new cooler because I’m kinda on a budget. *no oc*

Solution
If you do want a decent cooler, get a cooler with copper heat pipes. These can be very cheap especially on sale. Intel stock coolers are crap in my opinion because of the small aluminum spiral grid. Amd coolers are taller and better, and they cool better. Neither have copper heat pipes to my knowledge.

Long story short, try to not game a lot on Intel stock coolers, and a cooler with 2 or more copper heat pipes will do you good. Also, reliable thermal grease will treat you good.
