File Transfer to External Drive isn't copying

I've been trying to copy a 38 Gig file from a WD Elements 2TB hard drive to a 4TB WD Black drive. It's been roughly 12 hours since I started copying it.

Here's the weird thing, I checked properties on the file that was copied and the size of the file is exactly the size of the original, but the progress screen is still sitting at 47%? So, my initial thought was that the file is done copying, but I don't want to touch it because the progress bar is saying it's still copying, even though the full size is there already. Not sure what's going on here, but I've already tried exiting out once before, and the file disappeared from the copied drive. So, I started over.

I initially copied ten other files that around 70 Gigs each, and they all copied just fine. Just this one is giving me problems.

Both drives have more than enough space to fit it. My C drive has about 200 GB space free.

I'm on Windows 8.1, Intel Core i7-5820K CPU @3.30GHz, 32 Gigs of Ram, 64-bit OS.

The file sizes matching unfortunately is meaningless. This is typical Windows behavior. Even if it'd only copied 10kb bytes the file sizes would still show the same.

Have you thought of trying Robocopy (It's built into Windows; Run from command prompt), or teracopy?

I know this doesn't explain why the problem is occurring, but at least you might get the file copied...
