in my pc build I have the intel Pentium G4400 and it can't handle streaming whatsoever. the game its self is fine but the gameplay on the stream is all choppy and laggy. I am just wondering if the intel Pentium G4560 is worth it for streaming? I seen it a while back on a forum for best budget cpu with a rating of 7/10

What does the rest of your build look like? Honestly, with the price of I7 6700's and 7700's being $200 to $230 on average, your almost better off jumping to Ryzen and getting a better cpu and motherboard for the same cost, and actually having an upgrade path. What are the specs of the rest of your computer?

Good performance in streaming comes from more threads on a CPU. The G4560 is a dual core CPU with hyperthreading. So it has 4 threads while the G4400 is a dual core with no hyperthreading. So it has 2 cores. Therefore the additional threads on the G4560 will be a nice boost for streaming over the G4400. With that being said, just because it is better, does not mean it will be great. While the G4560 is a very good budget gaming CPU, it's purpose is not really gaming and streaming.

You may be better off by looking for a true quad core CPU such as the 6500/7500. You may be able to find a decent deal on a used one that may not be too much more than a G4560.

I will look into the 6500 and 7500

If you are looking at APUs for streaming, you most likely dont have the budget to upgrade to what you need. What is your budget? Depending on where you are in the world, it could cost as much as $1000 for a CPU mobo and RAM upgrade to do what you want to do. And do it properly. What is your budget for this upgrade?

Whatever you do, don't go with an A8 6500. The CPU I recommended was an i5 6500 or i5 7500.

An i7 would be ideal to stream, but since you are on a low budget an i7 may be out of reach. Your next best option would be an i5. Since you have a G4400 your motherboard socket is 1151 so you want to get a CPU that is compatible with that socket so you don't have to purchase a new motherboard. The i5 6500 will work without issue on your current motherboard. Your motherboard may need a bios update to run the i5 7500, but that is easy since you already have a G4400.

There is very little difference in performance between the 6500/7500 as the 7500 is clocked just a little higher. But core for core, they are the same. I would try and find a good deal on a used 6500. The release of the i3 8100 has really dropped the value of the 6500's.

After a 1 minute check on ebay you can find a refurbished 6500 for $89 vs the new price of the G4560 for $60. In my opinion, $30 more for the quad core is a no brainer.
