Wired or Wireless or Both?

I am building a new house and have run over 5600 feet of CAT6 cable. I’m trying to accomplish the most efficient and strongest home network and wonder what the best way is to set that up. Mesh system? High end router with extenders? Wired router with multiple AP’s from a switch?

I have multiple switches an multiple patch panels and everything is a homerun. 89 drops to be exact. The house is 5,300 sqft and is two stories. ALL walls have insulation in them as well as between floors. What will give the house the best coverage without loss of speed or signal?

Thanks!

Solution
The best is still what has been used by corporations for years. APs connected to a central switch/router. You want to adjust the AP power level to the lowest that will cover the room it is installed in with minimal interference with other AP. If you are willing to spend the money a AP in every room would be optimum.

Is it not possible to plan all your connections going to one patch panel? cascading switches is best to avoid. Having one router, one switch, and multiple wAP is ideal. being able to lock up the networking room or equipment part is a big plus. esp for ipcam storage.

cat6a to future proof for potential 10G networking. make sure it's POE(+) rated. UTP UL listed. full copper no cca. i'd buy the cable or make sure the contractor gets good stuff. CMR for most runs. maybe some CMP if you do have to run through a plenum. Don't run cable bundled/crossed with 110/220V wires.

Daisy chain switches are no problem. No performance loss, if you buy non-crappy devices.

I agree it's viable, but if you are planning on a new build might as well plan for the best way. In my opinion the centralized networking area is best.
