I just wanted to know if my cpu overclock fails and system wont boot, will I have to clear the cmos everytime or will the bios auto reset back to factory settings? the cpu is a ryzen 3 1200 the motherboard is a asrock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4, I heard it will auto reset the bios, but im just making sure.

Hi, If overclock fails, the system usually restarts/crashes, so you can change bios setting again. Failure to POST happens rarely. Also, bios won't reset on its own, unless your cmos is not working properly or you have set some kind of auto-reset setting. You could use CLEAR CMOS Jumper if your motherboard has one.

Happy Overclocking.
